The dandruff of Satan

From the forecasts I'd hoped our area would escape getting any snow this winter, but yesterday afternoon the vile flakes began to descend, and now there's an inch or two of the stuff all over the ground. Ah, well, the dogs and kids seem to like it. And it hasn't turned to slippery ice, at least so far.

Satan's dandruff, heh? And I thought at first it was just God's sperm frozen spraying down from wanking too much ....oh well ... learn something new daily! :)

It started snowing again in Dallas yesterday, but unlike Christmas Eve, not a blizzard with them strong wind's ... it was so pretty I just went out in it and walked for a couple miles to enjoy it...and the temp was moderate at around 30 degree's or so as well.

I'm outta here ........

If you get Santa's dandruff, we get his bald palate - ice. Would love to have real snow.

Satan's dandruff? Gods frozen sperm? How Gross! Well, you could have the cold piss of a million or more(or how ever many fit on the head of a pin) angels raining down on you non stop for the past three days...

RC: Sounds like there's a typo in the old Christmas song -- "Wanking in a Winter Wonderland".....

LP: I'm certainly glad we don't have ice. I've slipped and fallen on that stuff enough times.

Rita: Sounds like our Earth is the "restroom of the gods" -- someone should base a science-fiction show on that concept.

Infidel, most people see how far north Portland is and assume that we get lots, when it is a real rarity here. It's melting fast and should not freeze with the low forcast at 35.

TomCat: Very similar to Boulder, CO. People from the hinterlands think it gets a ton of snow being in the Rockies. But it is in the foothills on the eastern side of the mountains. The mountains actually protect it.

Denver - I so wish I were back there - gets more snow but not as much as indicated by the national media. They report from Denver but the big snowfalls are in the higher altitudes - Winter Park, Vail, Aspen, etc.

Being on the western edge of a land mass seems to moderate the weather. See Oregon, Washington, California, western Europe.....

Actually it's mostly melted already.....a pitiful, desultory snowfall.....hardly worth writing a blog post to whinge about it.....

Leslie, I lived in Denver in the early 1970s. What I don't miss is the severe pollution there.
