Ride the Trans-Siberian Railway by computer (found via Mendip).

British blogger Four Dinners will soon visit the US, but there's one place he'll probably stay away from.

Zirgar analyzes some Biblical prohibitions.

Granny joins the computer age.

These cute animals should be avoided (found via Mendip).

Some churches' attitudes toward suffering are downright creepy.

Jason of Indiana has a new license plate.

There's such a thing as taking online games too seriously.

Jerry Critter has escaped the tyranny of private-sector health insurers (I still have 15½ years to go). But we can't afford health reform for all.

Conservatism risks being trapped by its paranoid fringe.

The Pentagon shooting looks like another right-wing terrorist attack like the one last month in Austin.

At least one Democrat is invoking Jim Bunning against Republican opponents. Others would rather emulate him.

Throw them to the wolves! These guys too.

Teabaggers lose big in the Texas Republican primaries.

As gay marriage comes to Washington DC, Minnesota considers taking the same step.

The death of Sea World orca trainer Dawn Brancheau prompts yet another outburst of religious stupidity.

Sacrilege is fun, but it also serves serious purposes.

Detroiters are using unorthodox methods to reclaim their city. They still have their share of religious twits, though.

Yet another threat looms against science education in the US.

The "debate" on global warming is summed up in one cartoon.

A space image captures the world's biggest display of kitsch.

A gay prostitution scandal has erupted at the Vatican.

Australia's "Freedom of Religion and Belief Project" is in decidedly the wrong hands.

Expectations that Germany will bail Greece out of its economic woes continue to produce acrimony. Read this too (the German writing on the magazine says: "Cheaters in the euro-family.....Will Greece grab our money? And what's with Spain, Portugal, Italy?").

Dangerous religious fanatics infiltrate Britain's Labour party.

Here's a list of organizations which agree that human-caused cli-mate change is real, and of those that deny it (found via Green Eagle). Shows rather clearly what's actually going on here, I think.

Most of the cells -- and genes -- in your body are not human.

Bush's restrictions on stem-cell research drove much of that work to other countries. Now Americans travel overseas for treatment.

Good Evening Mr.Infidel!

Well ... 7pm here .... so let me just comment please on a couple piece's, while the night is still young! :)

First of all, nice work by "Pharyngula" on the Vatican Brothel link's and such. My guess is that the comment's of you, Elizabeth, and Mendip were "tongue in cheek" a tad of humor .... as far as "shocking". I mean .... we all have an idea of how "fun and full of cum" the Vatican can be. :) And by golly .... if there aint no gal's around .... boy's can certainly have fun too! :) I loved it!

Thanx on the piece from "Down with Tyranny" on "Tejas Teabag's". I havent kept up with the Texas Tea crowd actually, or heard much about them locally .... but Texas has alway's been a great spot for Hellraisin and fun, so I knew they must be hiding somewhere's. :)

"Politic's Plus" coverage of the right winger shooter in DC, dont reckon he has any wing's no more, heh? Anywayz .... I heard the other day on the news that this ole boy was stopped by police here in Texas not long ago ... for driving recklessly, and the traffic cop said he was really off the wall .... kept standing and sitting and kept acting like someone was calling him on his cell, and talking to a dead phone, etc. Anywayz .... the cop wrote him ticket's for speeding and drug paraphernalia (crack pipes or such)sent the ole boy on his way .... according to the Texas cop though ... a lil nutty. Hmmmm .... wonder if he paid the ticket's?

Hilarious piece from "Daily Kos" on who say's what on human causes for "climate change" ....I still call it "global warming" by the way .... the new title dont make reality more pleasant for me.

Thanx Guy ..............

Just one more thing please .... Nice read's from "Hello Mr.President" on "basatard's" as well as from "Sadly No" on what banster's think of folk's. And it's no secret to anyone who ever read anything I wrote over the last two year's as to exactly what all these type's think of folk's, which bring's me to this short piece. And dont get me wrong here .... because I too am a bastard as well. I jujst never ripped off little people, is the difference.

But I spent as I said before .... over 5 year's running a graphic art's/ print shop (in house) for a group of insurance companies, one of the nation's largest at the time, filthy rich, full of scam's, tax haven's, off shore resort's, "Fortune 500" player's etc. Well .... we all knew well about the money and waste and lavish expense account's etc. A small group of us decided the way they spent, and surplus they had, and their savvy well constructed policies/plan's to win and never lose. We wanted a lil ourselves .... we decided to rip off the company we worked for .... we seen them as thieve's basically, and ourselves as smaller thieve's stealing from bigger thieve's, I kind of felt like a Robinhood in a way I reckon. We knew that if we got caught (we were the management) they couldnt prosecute, because it would get out to shareholder's/ investor's what was going on withing their wonderful company. For about 3 year's.... we hired a crew ... and one former convicted counterfeiter from Columbia that had an expensive girlfriend beside's his wife and a new mortgage ... and a few other's, that knew the printing business well. But we raped this company inside out, more like a gangbang, in short, we even charged all the outsourced service's such as bindery to the companies account's, had our client's down in Houston while we operated out of Dallas, hired contract labour in- house and charged it to the company ... and charged the company for all the hour's we done on our own business and work, plus all supplies we used or bought, was invoiced through the company .... we had NO EXPENSE ... just profit. And boy oh boy, did we do some business, by our standard's. Put it this way .... for about 3 year's .... since I had 5 week's paid vacation a year and 2 week's sick leave, a half a dozen time's a year .... I got 9/10 day trip's to many cities, alway's was driving new fully loaded car's .... mostly leased ... and had some habit's that can ring up expenses, such as sex, drug's(cocaine especially) and small time gambling/ betting. Anywayz .... one day .... we came to work ... and once inside .... several contract hired Dallas PD officer's sealed off the building, and private investigator's were inside, who talked to us individually in seperate office's having many of us sign paper's to resign and be escorted by officer's off the property or get criminal charge's brought against us. They did it privately like that, as we suspected at start they would do .... so we went along with it. But that's it .... our game came to an end basically.

.....giggle.....

I mean .... we all have an idea of how "fun and full of cum" the Vatican can be. :)

The Catholic Church needs to stop letting seminarians get into its rectories. That's unsafe sects!

I havent kept up with the Texas Tea crowd actually, or heard much about them locally .... but Texas has alway's been a great spot for Hellraisin and fun

Looks like they were too busy raisin' Hell and havin' fun to actually win any elections. Works for me.

wonder if he paid the ticket's?

Gosh, you don't really think a deranged murderer would do something unethical like not pay his tickets, do you?

we decided to rip off the company we worked for .... we seen them as thieve's basically, and ourselves as smaller thieve's stealing from bigger thieve's,

Great thieves have little thieves, upon their backs to bite 'em,

contract hired Dallas PD officer's sealed off the building, and private investigator's were inside,

And little thieves have lesser thieves, and so ad infinitum.

Glad somebody at least prised a few bucks of those parasites' ill-gotten gains away from them.

Punxxi: Hey, I've been to Coos Bay (and Bandon) -- a tad windy but not unpleasant, as I recall. Just today I was looking at a video of the Land's End area in England, and it rather reminded me of the southern Oregon coast.

I know a pretty sharp atheist who lives a few towns up the road from there.....but otherwise, I'm not sure County Coos is quite ready for Mr. Dinners's larger-than-life personality. He'd have a blast in Portland, though.

That Swash Zone blog you linked to? Outstanding!

And as far as arresting the insurance execs, oh, please, please let that happen. Upon seeing such a spectacle, I would no doubt erupt in such a frenzy of celebratory jumping around that I quite think I'd sprain something, but it would be so worth it. I mean, can you imagine?

Great list :)

Well, it must be -- I write for it occasionally:-)

Remarkable how many people feel that way about health-insurance executives, isn't it? They must be doing something right to inspire such universal admiration.
