Another wonderful list - thanks for posting. The Hovercats entry is hysterical! As for racism at NRO, I would argue that this is very old news, indeed. I'd ask folks to go back to the 50's and early to mid-60's to see Bill Buckley's antipathy and threats to the modern civil rights movement and his overt support of the so-called Citizens Councils during that time. Calling his disciples racist is like saying the Sun rises in the East.

America's future is being submerged by a wave of stupidity.

Several times I have ticked off various brands of "Love America or Leave It Types" with them asking why I stay if it is so bad.

At first I laugh a little then explain that it is not that easy. I have looked into hauling ass but sadly this rat has found out leaving this sinking ship and getting into another country just is not that easy.

Nice spots like New Zealand, Austraila, and even Chile will reasily take Americans with big bucks but if you are peon like me its another story.

I would consider Canada but its too close to this insane asylum, when the lid finally blows off I would like to be far away.

Thanks for the comments, all!

Mendip: Buckley is often credited with helping drum the worst extremists out of the conservative movement. Disappointing if he indeed left a door open to the racists.

BB: I'm much more optimistic about the ultimate outcome. But in any case fleeing isn't an option -- if the real crazies ever did take over this country, nowhere else in the whole world would be safe. As Americans we need to stand and fight.
